Spider Hole November 2021

Monday 19th February 2018

John Cooper, Simon Richards (Nik-Nak), Tony Seddon, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. Carried in 1 bag of sand. Just enough of us tonight to get 42 loads up Four-Tonne Shaft. Still another couple of hauling sessions required. 2¼ hours. John.

John Cooper, NikNak, Jude VdP, Tony Seddon & Myself. With all of us in our usual positions, me being at the bottom, we hauled up our normal 42 buckets. The only difference to the evening was that the clatch consisted of wet gravelly mud, heavy and not that easy to empty out apparently. Adrian.

Monday 12th February 2018

John Cooper, Simon Richards (Nik-Nak) and Adrian Vanderplank. With only 3 again tonight we did a mix of cement, split it into 2 buckets and used 1 on the North and 1 on the South ends at the bottom. 2 hours. John.

John Cooper, NikNak, Myself. With a much depleted team John mixed a bucket of cement which we took to the bottom. Half was used on the South end and half on the North. Plastic bags were put on top to try and protect the walling afterwards. NikNak and I stayed down the bottom for a while longer trying to get a rock out from the crack! Adrian.
