John Cooper, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. Two mixes split between 3 buckets taken to the bottom. Four-Tonne Shaft running well tonight. Adrian used two of the buckets cementing the wall where we will be going down whilst John used the other finishing cementing the climb up into the Grotto. Jude passed rocks back to both cementers. A frog was rescued from just above the via ferrata on the way out. 1¾ hours.

Monday 24th February 2020

James Collings, John Cooper and Wayne Starsmore. Short of staff tonight. Even so with John loading James hauling and Wayne stacking 45 loads were hauled up the bottom shaft to leave it clear. Very drippy tonight and the last load counts as 2 really as it was heavy with gravel! 1¾ hours.

Thursday 20th February 2020

John Cooper, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. Adrian and Jude went in 45 minutes early to replace the ropes on Nut Pitch. John arrived just as they were mixing cement ready for the next stage. One mix was taken to the bottom and Adrian used half cementing the wall where we will be going down whilst John used the other half cementing the climb up into the Grotto. 2 hours+.
