After Rob and Wayne had viewed the bottom they went and added two mixes to the Spiral Staircase whilst the rest continued walling at the bottom. More walling at both still required. 2¼ hours. John.

John Cooper and Jude Vanderplank. One mix to the bottom and a start made on building retaining walls. 1½ hours.
Tuesday 18th August 2020
John Cooper, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. Took in capping kit. One cap sorted out the boulder. Then spent the rest of the time hauling spoil up from the bottom. Needs a couple of cementing sessions now. 2½ hours.
Saturday 15th August 2020
John Cooper, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. After winding in the wire made a start on clearing the debris from Tuesday. Lots more remains including a boulder that Adrian thinks needs capping. 2 hours.
Tuesday 11th August 2020
John Cooper, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. Took in drill, bits and a couple of metres of cord to sort out the boulder at the bottom. Hot on the surface and nice draught coming out of the bottom. Repeated a couple of the legs from Saturday which I believe had been affected by the 6ft steel crowbar! Next trip should see what’s happened to the boulder. 2½ hours.

John Cooper and Jude Vanderplank. Was supposed to be a tourist trip for Nigel Graham but he got the collywobbles. Went and updated the survey of the bottom bit of the cave. 2 hours.
