Monday 24th September 2018
John Cooper, Pete Hellier and Adrian
Vanderplank. Reduced team so took a bag of sand in and used it in a mix of
cement at the very bottom. Adrian started capping along the bottom but wonders
if cord might be better. Rather drippy after the rainy weekend! Adrian thinks
someone had been down as the bucket was attached to the rope in Four-Tonne
Shaft and the heap was smaller than he left it - very odd. 2½ hours.
Monday 17th September 2018
John Cooper, Pete Hellier, Wayne Starsmore,
Adrian Vanderplank, Jude Vanderplank and Barry Weaver. Adrian and Pete first
had a look at the very bottom, most impressed. With Adrian filling, Barry on
the ledge, Wayne and Pete hauling, Jude in The Pit and John in the eyrie 42
loads were hauled up Four-Tonne shaft. 2¼ hours.
