John
Cooper, Rob Harper, Will Reed, Wayne Starsmore and Adrian Vanderplank. Took in
2 bags of sand and a new bag of cement. Wayne also had his endoscope camera and Adrian his magic smoke. After a look ahead it was thought down was the
way, a slight draught coming out where the water sinks. Many loads of rock were deposited at the base of the bottom shaft ready for
several hauling sessions. Wayne and Rob were at the face, Will loading the
buckets hauled back by John and passed to Adrian for stacking and breaking up
where necessary. Some were left for future capping! 2½ hours.
