Monday 11th June 2018

James Collings, John Cooper, Mark Easterling (Bean), Simon Richards (Nik Nak), Tony Seddon, Wayne Starsmore, Adrian Vanderplank and Barry Weaver. We were able to work the bottom shaft (John loading, Bean hauling and Wayne stacking) as well as Four-Tonne shaft (Wayne filling, Barry on the ledge, Nik Nak above and Tony hauling then Adrian in The Pit and James at the top) in parallel. At least 42 loads moved all the way up (everyone lost count!). 2½ hours.

Monday 4th June 2018

James Collings, John Cooper, Pete Hann, Will Reed, Wayne Starsmore and Adrian Vanderplank. Mix of cement sent to the bottom with Adrian and Pete. With Will loading and James on the Ledge 42 loads hauled up Four-Tonne Shaft as far as the Pit with Wayne and John taking a turn each at hauling. The spoil was then moved on up to the top of Four-Tonne Shaft. Adrian and Pete finally returned reporting some large blocks in need of breaking. Only a part session worth of spoil left at the bottom of Four-Tonne. 2½ hours (longer for Adrian and Pete). Only made the pub AFTER closing time!

John Cooper, Mike Kousiounis, Will Reed and Wayne Starsmore. 42 loads hauled up the bottom shaft. Still plenty more to haul but it might be prudent to do a bit of cementing as well. 2½ hours.
