Nik-Nak filling buckets at bottom of Four-Tonne Shaft, John on ledge in middle, Mike ¾ way up and Tony hauling at top. Jude in Pit and Adrian and James on stacking heap. 30 (heavy) loads before we gave up with seized-up pulleys. Nik-Nak reckons same again, or a bit less, left. 2 hours. John.
NikNak, Tony Seddon, John Cooper, James Collings, Michael Butcher, Jude & Myself. A clearing session from the bottom of 4 ton shaft. Thirty buckets hauled up and stacked at the back of the rift. Both pulleys decided to seize towards the end of the session. Pulleys will need replacing before next Monday.Adrian.
