John Cooper, Simon Richards (Nik-Nak) and Adrian Vanderplank. With John at the bottom filling buckets and Adrian stacking at the bottom of Four-Tonne Shaft we cleared 42 loads before time was called. Very little debris left at the bottom without considerable hammering. Looking interesting again. 1½ hours. John.

John, NikNak & Myself. With even less of us tonight! We dug at the bottom. 42 buckets. Both John & NikNak say the bottom is looking interesting, but they’re not sure why! Adrian.

James Collings, John Cooper, Mike Kousiounis, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. Hauled 21 loads up Four-Tonne shaft into Pit then emptied Pit. Replaced the club ladder on the top section of Nut Pitch with one Tommo made specially. 1½ hours. John.

Mike K, John Cooper, James Collings, Jude & Myself. With a slightly reduced digging team hauled from the bottom of 4 tonne shaft to the pit and then from the pit to final stacking. 21 buckets but double handled. Adrian.
