John Cooper & Myself. With all the spoil having been cleared from the bottom of the dig & 4 ton shaft John & I decided to make some more. The bottom has become quite restricted so with that in mind, three 500mm holes were drilled in the staled up side. This was loaded with 40gm cord, retired & fired. No fumes followed us out of the cave & very little draught was felt in the entire cave. Temp outside was 7° approx. wind still to light.
