John Cooper, Simon Richards (Nik-Nak), Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. With Adrian at the bottom, John hauling and Jude stacking at the bottom of Four-Tonne shaft 22 loads were hauled up the bottom shaft before Adrian and John swapped places for a final 10. Still drippy. Not much spoil left at bottom. Now to haul it all up Four-Tonne shaft! 2½ hours. John.

Cooper, NikNak, Jude & Myself. Back to the
bottom and another 30 buckets hauled to the base of 4 tonne shaft. Cave wet and
cold and you feel a bit like a drowned rat when you’ve been digging at the
bottom. Not quite sure what to make of the bottom. It’s changing but what is it
going to do… who knows! The floor is becoming quite staled again. Adrian.
