NikNak & Myself.With a very
depleted team due to illness and work commitments it left two of us on a very
cold & rainy night to uphold the team’s honour!!! Both of us down
to the bottom to survey the damage done by the bang on the 23/01/17.The bang had done
quite a bit of damage but not quite in the coordinated was that I had hoped. It
had shattered quite a bit of rock above the target zone so quite a bit of
careful spoil removal was carried out by the two of us.By the end of
the session we could see about 1.5 metres down a narrow crack (which was
admitting(?) a draught) and looking horizontally along you can now definitely
see black space…Whoo Hooo.Next tasks.
Secure the rock face above, probably using some rebar and cement. Wall up the
loose boulders above where I banged, & clear spoil. Adrian.
