James Collings, John Cooper, Simon Richards (Nik-Nak) and Adrian Vanderplank. Slow start with James due late and no sign of Nik Nak so decided to send James for a look at the very bottom whilst Adrian and John mixed cement and wall built. However once cement mixed Nik Nak appeared so with James filling, John on ledge and Nik Nak hauling we started moving cobbles etc up Four-Tonne Shaft. Once Adrian had finished cementing the top wall we hauled clatch as well. Once 42 loads were in the Pit James went to look at the very bottom whilst we cleared the Pit. An excellent evening’s work with Four-Tonne now clear. 2¼ hours. John.
