Mike and Tom went in first
to have a look at the bottom. Then with Adrian loading, Mike on the ledge, Tom
just below John in Four-Tonne Shaft and Wayne in The Pit 45 loads were hauled
up leaving the base of the shaft clear. Finally the spoil was moved from The
Pit ready for use on the spiral staircase. 2¼ hours.
