Starsmore, Adrian Vanderplank and Jude Vanderplank. New rope taken in for
hauling on Four-Tonne Shaft and all the old ones brought out. Two bags of sand
taken in. One was used on walling the bottom shaft whilst 12 loads were dug
from the face before stronger measures were deemed necessary. As it was still
early another mix was done and more walling added to the Spiral Staircase. 2¼ hours.
