John Cooper, Wayne Starsmore and Adrian Vanderplank. Only 3 again tonight. We admired Will’s stairs down to the top of The Pit on our way down. With John loading, Wayne hauling and Adrian stacking 42 loads were hauled up the bottom shaft. There is still a lot more spoil along the bottom tunnel that will have to come out before any onwards progress can be made. 2 hours.

Monday 22nd July 2019

John Cooper, Will Reed and Wayne Starsmore. With only 3 tonight we took in a bag of cement and used all the older cement up in 3 mixes building up the Spiral Staircase. 1½ hours.

Monday 15th July 2019

John Cooper, Mark Easterling (Bean), Tony Seddon, Wayne Starsmore and Adrian Vanderplank. With only 5 tonight we had to move the loads up Four-Tonne Shaft via a stop-over in The Pit. However the 42 load total was reached. There is still some clatch at the base of Four-Tonne, probably 10-15 loads. 2 hours.
